Pony Club Efficiency Tests cover pony care and stable management as well as riding.
C Test represents the basic level of competency that we expect all of our members to aim for and eventually to attain. Completion of C Test is a prerequisite for participation in more advanced activities such as Senior Eventing Camp and XC Experience sessions.
At this level, candidates should demonstrate a secure seat that is independent of the reins both on the flat and over small jumps. In addition to applying basic aids correctly, riders must show control when riding on their own and courtesy to others when riding in a group. The Stable Management and Theory assessment focuses on basic knowledge about pony care, tack and horse clothing.
The cost of this test is $475, which includes study materials. Please note that the host riding centre will charge you an additional horse hire fee for the riding component of your test.
